Moving to the Great White North

I've just accepted an offer from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, so I'll be heading up Canada way this summer sometime.

This means that Voodoo Economics will be on hiatus, though I fully expect to sneak down here for a month or so next summer to make a Voodoo Ec. album and play some shows.

I'll be studying toward a Ph.D. in Music Theory with a special focus on perception and cognition. They have an amazing research facility called C.I.R.M.M.T. (pronounced Kermit, natch) that I'll be a part of. Excitement!

Tracking, meat your end

We're done tracking the new Voodoo Economics album. Woo! I'm mixing now (not RIGHT now, you literal a-hole!) and it shall be out of my hands within a month or so.

This excites me greatly.

I have at least three more albums to make (two of my own, one Upholstery album) before I begin my PhD in the fall. Oh crap, oh crap.
